What is Brake Repair Assurance?
Our Brake Assurance packages provide you the ability to pre-pay for future brake repair costs at a tremendously lower rate.  So, if you believe your vehicle's brakes will need replaced within the next 10 months, our plans will save you money and time.  Many of our members report saving up to 70% on their future brake repairs by purchasing one of our coverage plans in advance.

How Will I Know When My Brakes Need Replaced?
Most brake pads on vehicles have a life cycle between 25,000 to 60,000 miles depending on the quality of the parts and your driving habits.  For exampe, if you frequently drive in stop-and-go traffic conditions, and/or use your vehicle more than the average person, the life cycle of your brakes will be shorter.  Our expert advice is to keep track of the mileage you've used on your current set of brakes, and get them fixed proactively within the normal life cycle, rather than waiting until excessive squeaking and vibration occur.  Many newer brake pads have wear indicators that make a squealing noise when it's time to replace your pads.  Remember, the longer you wait the more damage you can cause to your entire brake system resulting in higher repair costs.  The following video provides some tips on how to determine when your brakes might need replaced--watch video.

How It Works
After purchasing your Brake Assurance package, there is a 60-day waiting period that has to expire before brake coverage begins.  Coverage packages only cover one vehicle.  If more than one vehicle needs coverage, then a coverage plan has to be purchased for each vehicle.

Once the 60-day waiting period ends, you are invited to post your project from your account on our website as soon your vehicle's brakes need repaired.  Our company will assign the brake repair project to one of our qualified mechanics or repair shops to fix your brakes at a location of your choice.  If you prefer offsite repair service, your car can be picked up and delivered back to you after the repair is completed.

Parts & Warranties
All parts meet OEM specifications and possess limited-lifetime warranties.  Labor on all repairs include a minimum 6-month/6,000 mile warranty guaranteed by BrakeQuotes.com, but most of our members provide longer labor warranties.

Excluded Parts & Vehicles
Performance parts will not be covered by any of our Special, Standard, or Complete Packages.  Exotic and/or extreme luxury vehicles, including oversized trucks, SUVs, and vans are excluded, too (excluded list).  However, we invite owners of these types of vehicles to post their brake repair project because we do have member mechanics who will be more than happy to service your vehicle.  Post Project Now
